Dragan and the New Start

Dragan arrives at the bank at 09:00 for his appointment. He wants to open a bank account to save his salary.

The banker explains the fees and the interest rate. Dragan signs the application form with a pen.

Outside, the heavy rain makes the pavement slippery. Dragan checks his phone for the 14:30 train to London.

Kenji tells Dragan that split tickets are cheaper. He explains that buying two tickets for one journey saves 20 pounds.

Dragan finds a ticket from London to York for 45 pounds. He books the first part for 15 pounds and the second for 30 pounds.

The station announcer warns passengers about roadworks near the entrance. Dragan walks quickly to platform 4.

Dragan feels happy because he saved money. He checks the schedule for his return trip on June 12th.

Dragan remembers his doctor appointment tomorrow at 10:00. He decides to eat a quick lunch at the station cafe.

The train arrives at the gate at 14:25. Dragan shows his mobile ticket to the inspector.

Dragan sits down and enjoys the view. He thinks about his successful day in the new city.
