The Community Market Day

Selin arrives at the town square at 09:00 on Saturday. She sees a charity stall for the local community.

Hamid waits near Gate 4 for the volunteers. He tells Selin that the event needs many helpers today.

They walk to the supermarket to buy bread. Hamid mentions the total price is 5 pounds for the charity.

Selin shows her loyalty card to the cashier. She explains that the card saves 1 pound on the receipt.

Hamid compares the shop card with his own card. He notes that the other shop offers a better discount.

They fill out the volunteer form at 10:30. The supervisor asks for their names and their arrival time.

The community event ends at 16:00. Selin and Hamid feel happy about their helpful work.
