CHAPTER 47

Viktor Moves to England

Viktor arrives at the health centre at 09:00 AM on Monday. He has decided to register with a GP.

The receptionist tells him that the registration form costs 5 pounds. Viktor pays the fee and fills in the document.

Outside, the weather is rainy. Viktor hears a station announcement about delays due to roadworks near the clinic.

Viktor meets Maria, who explains the council recycling rules. She says the brown bin is for garden waste only.

Maria mentions that the blue box is for paper and plastic. She adds that the collection happens every Tuesday at 07:00.

Viktor asks if he can put glass in the blue box. Maria replies that glass belongs in the green container.

They walk past a restaurant where a sign says lunch starts at 12:30. Viktor says he has a doctor appointment at 14:00.

Viktor has finished his registration. He feels happy because he has organised his health care.

Maria reminds him that he must separate his rubbish carefully. She says the council checks the bins at gate number 4.

Viktor thanks Maria for her help. He walks home to sort his cardboard boxes correctly.
