University Dreams and Doctor Visits

Giuseppe wakes up at 7:30 AM and feels a terrible headache. He checks the weather report which predicts heavy rain all day.

Giuseppe decides to call the NHS 111 service for advice. The operator tells him that a local GP appointment costs zero pounds.

Giuseppe arrives at the clinic at 9:15 AM despite the roadworks. He explains to the receptionist that he has a fever.

Oksana meets him there and asks if he has finished his UCAS application. Giuseppe says that he has completed the main form.

The doctor examines Giuseppe and suggests some rest. He has finished his shift so he writes a prescription for a medicine.

Giuseppe walks to the pharmacy at 10:45 AM. He pays five pounds for the tablets to treat his illness.

At 12:00 PM they go to a cafe for a snack. Giuseppe tells Oksana that his university deadline is on January 15th.

The station announcer says that the train to the university city is delayed. It will depart from Platform 4 at 2:30 PM.

Giuseppe feels better and finishes his personal statement. He submits his application through the UCAS portal successfully.

Oksana celebrates his progress with a hot tea. They plan to visit the campus next week when the sun returns.
