A New Beginning in London

It is 8:00 AM on Monday, October 12th. Kenji arrives at the busy station while loud announcements delay the trains due to roadworks.

Kenji checks the weather as it is raining heavily. He walks quickly to the office for his interview at the British tech startup.

The manager Monika greets him warmly. She asks if he has the proper documents for the role.

Kenji explains that he has completed his application. He hopes the salary will cover the monthly rent of 1200 pounds.

Monika says he has performed well during the interview. She offers him the position starting next month.

After the meeting, Kenji goes to the bank at 2:00 PM. He needs to open an account to receive his future wage.

The bank clerk tells him the account fee is 5 pounds. Kenji provides his address and his passport.

Kenji leaves the bank feeling happy. He remembers he has a doctor appointment at 4:30 PM today.

He stops at a restaurant to eat a quick meal. He pays 15 pounds and checks his phone for the location of the clinic.

Kenji reaches the clinic on time. He finishes his busy day and prepares for his new life in the city.
