The Tech Startup Interview

It is 08:30 on Monday. Rainer arrives at Platform 4 for his journey to the city.

The train is delayed because of heavy rain and roadworks near the station.

Rainer asks how much tax he pays. Fatima says the employer deducts the income tax from the gross salary.

Fatima mentions that he has a lunch appointment at 13:00 today. She offers him a contract with a starting date of 1st October.

Rainer reads the document carefully. He notices the total cost includes the health insurance.

He agrees to the terms and thanks her for the clear explanation. They shake hands to confirm the deal.

Rainer leaves the building and feels happy about his future career.
