Murat Navigates London Life

Murat arrived in London on Tuesday, 10th October, at 14:30. The train arrived at Platform 7. He felt excited to start his new life.

He needed to register with a General Practitioner (GP). He found the nearest surgery online and decided to go today.

The reception told him, "Your registration appointment is next Monday at 9:15 AM." Murat was happy to have a date.

Later, he met Fatima for dinner. They chose a restaurant called 'The Old Oak' on High Street. It looked cosy.

Murat studied the menu. He saw 'Fish and Chips' for £14.50 and 'Shepherd's Pie' for £13.00. He was hungry.

Fatima recommended the 'Roast Chicken' for £16.75. She said it was a popular dish. Murat chose it.

After the delicious meal, the bill arrived. It was £35.25 for both. Fatima explained about tipping culture in England.

"We usually leave 10% to 15% for good service," she said. This was new information for Murat.

He decided to leave a tip of £4.00. He wanted to show his appreciation for the service. The waiter smiled.

Murat felt more confident. He had successfully registered with a GP and understood restaurant etiquette. He looked forward to his appointment.
