Ayse and Kenji in the UK

Ayse arrives at the surgery at 09:00 AM on Monday for her registration. She completes the necessary application form for the GP.

The receptionist informs Ayse that the clinic handles appointments via an online portal. Ayse is happy she has finished the process.

Outside, the weather is rainy, so they decide to walk to the supermarket. Ayse mentions that the roadworks on High Street are annoying.

Kenji shows Ayse the Tesco Clubcard he uses for his weekly groceries. He explains that it saves him 5 pounds on his total bill.

Ayse compares this to the Nectar card she uses at Sainsbury. She says that collecting points is a great strategy for saving money.

They look at the price of bread, which costs 1.20 pounds today. Kenji notes that his loyalty card gives him a special discount.

A station announcement interrupts them about a delay on the train line. Kenji checks the time and says they must leave by 11:30 AM.

Ayse pays for her food using her phone at the self-checkout terminal. She receives a receipt with 50 points added to her account.

They walk toward Gate 4 at the station to catch their connection. The platform is crowded because of the morning rush hour.

Ayse feels settled after her doctor visit and shopping trip. She has learned how to manage her healthcare and budget effectively.
