A Day in the Community

Oksana walks to the clinic at 09:00 AM because of the heavy rain. She wants to complete her registration with the local GP.

The receptionist says the registration fee is 0 pounds today. She asks Oksana to fill out the medical form on the desk.

Oksana finishes the form and leaves the clinic at 09:45 AM. The roadworks on High Street make her walk very slow.

She arrives at the community center for the food drive. The station announcement says the bus is delayed by twenty minutes.

Priya welcomes Oksana and thanks her for volunteering. They start organizing the boxes of fruit for the charity event.

Priya mentions that the tickets for the summer gala cost 15 pounds. The event takes place on June 12th in the town park.

They hear a loud sound from outside near gate 4. It is just a truck delivering more supplies for the community project.

Oksana feels happy because she has finished her doctor appointment. She talks to Priya about her plans for the weekend.

The weather improves and the sun appears in the sky. They decide to grab a quick coffee at the cafe next door.

They plan to meet again on July 5th to help at the park. Oksana is glad to be part of such a friendly neighborhood.
